Tiffany Scott is Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for working with children, adolescents, families, and couples. Tiffany received her Undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University, where she majored in both Criminal Justice and Sociology. Tiffany received her Master of Social Work degree from DePaul University and has done post-graduate work through Aurora University as well.

Tiffany currently works full-time in the school setting, providing intervention and support for children with social, emotional and behavioral challenges. Her work with children focuses on teaching skills for emotional regulation, problem-solving, conflict resolution, self-awareness and self-management. Tiffany has over a decade of experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and providing
thoughtful and purposeful intervention focused on play and social skills, as well as emotional regulation. Tiffany understands that all behavior is a form of communication and has successfully worked with children and families to develop interventions that address behavior challenges both at school and at home.
Outside of the school setting, Tiffany has experience working with couples, families and individuals in crisis. She has worked with parents to develop strategies for more effective communication and more successful co-parenting arrangements. Throughout her career, Tiffany has worked closely with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation. Tiffany is also trained in Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method couples therapy method and utilizes this approach when working with couples.
Spending time with her children, watching movies, and lifting weights are among Tiffany’s favorite things to do. She believes that developing healthy habits and routines is an essential part of living your best life. Tiffany believes that with the right tools and strategies, we are all capable of navigating life’s challenges. Tiffany strives to create a comfortable, safe, and relaxed environment for her clients in therapy.
